Summary

How do we solve the most fundamental problem -- material selection

Description

Description

Challenges:

1. The current popular masks make it difficult for people to breathe because of the material

2. Due to assembly line production, masks cannot meet the needs of customers well

Solution:

The current popular mask has great resistance. It is very laborious to push air filtration by relying solely on human respiratory pressure, which is easy to cause breathing difficulties. Wearing masks for a long time will cause hypoxia, chest tightness and other conditions. So we focus on how to ensure the air convection inside and outside the mask, while avoiding the growth of bacteria. I think there are two ways to do it (one is to change the material and the other is to mix aromatherapy products)

As a very potential adsorbent, graphene can be used to treat heavy metal ions and organic pollutants in water pollutants. I believe that graphene has the potential to further improve the filtering effect of the filter layer on fine particles and volatile organic substances, so as to improve the poor breathing experience of users during use. Or by using the properties of some essential oils, the effective Chinese herbal essential oils added in masks can soothe the throat, block viruses, and improve the immunity of the human body.

The mask must be adjusted within the minimum speed without greatly affecting the production speed. It has been suggested that the masks should be customized according to personal needs, which obviously requires a lot of time, and the existing conditions are not allowed. I suggest making masks with more flexible materials -- such as nanofibers. Masks that do not flex easily will limit the movement of the jaw and make it difficult to speak. Stretchable materials can also fit tightly to the face. To improve the sealing ability, I think extra rubber bands can be attached to the normal ear ring. The tightness of the mask can also be further improved by increasing the tension on the outside.

Who will take these actions?

Traditional Chinese medicine experts, chemical pharmaceutical research experts, mask production materials scientists, engineers, as well as mask production enterprises and universities related scientific researchers.

What are the projected costs?

Due to the rarity of different materials, I suggest that materials that meet the above criteria (more elastic and more absorbent) can be considered at an affordable price range.
