As the Head- Sustainability Desk at MCCIA, Pune, my role is to provide thought leadership, facilitation and coordination of sustainability activities for the industries/companies. My focus areas are challenges and solutions of sustainable development activities within industries/SMEs.

I have over 16 years of experience in energy, climate change and sustainable development ESG, business economy, climate and societal resilience, net-zero economy, and industrial operations/technology for helping Businesses sustainably achieving targets. Experience in advanced technology and climate change with emphasis include policy, research, advisory, strategic activities, sustainable industrial technologies, business operations, business development, project management, implementation, financial analysis, business models, IPMVP, impact assessment to training/capacity building. Amongst the highlights of my career, I have assessed and served more than 170 numbers of organizations covering industries across all the sectors and also served multilateral and bilateral organizations, government departments through various multi-stakeholder projects. I have gained significant experience in leading and coordinating technical activities of energy, sustainability/ESG and advanced industrial technologies related assignments. I have mainly two countries of experience, India and Japan, and regional working experience in almost 17 no’s of national states. I have delivered ~43 no’s of Presentations in national and international conferences and delivered ~42 no’s of Training sessions/programs. I have received a national and international level of Training from ~10 no's of programs and one of which is training from 'Japan International Cooperation Agency' (JICA), Japan. Also, articles/papers published ~13 no’s.

I have received an MTech (Energy) degree and Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). I am an Accredited Energy Auditor of BEE.
