I am often described as a catalyst of creative ideas. Currently the Project Manager for Fiber Technologies and research advisor to the MITii. Advisor to Closedloop Partners. I am also the Founder and Executive Director of Descience, Research on the Runway a community that connects the world of Science and Design. Neuroscientist and Postdoctoral trained in the MIT Sloan School at the Technology Innovation & entrepreneurship group. I graduated with a PhD in biomedical sciences from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, USA. I am energetically involved in fostering the innovation ecosystem as the head of the Chile-MA Alliance in Massachusetts. I am an active member of Women Entrepreneurs in Science and Technology (WEST) and received a Volunteer Giving back award. During my time as a Ph.D. student, I pioneered the co-organization of the International workshop called “Small Brains Big Ideas”, held in Santiago, Chile. So far, this initiative has successfully trained eighty Latin-American students. I was trained as a biochemist at University of Concepcion in my native Chile, I am constantly in the search of opportunity to support young talent. We can talk about Fashion, Energy, Biotechnology, Mining, Education and everything that makes technology a better human.
